- Personal is free, single-user, non-commercial use only, and capped at 2 monitored database instances. Professional removes every cap — unlimited servers, multi-user team accounts, and the full alerting suite — and licenses it for business/commercial use.
- Perpetual licenses — the software keeps working even if you let maintenance lapse; you just stop receiving updates.
- Every paid tier includes 14 months of maintenance and support up front — not 12. Real rollouts take time to plan, provision, and get through change control before the software is even installed, so the extra two months are lead time to get ready, not part of the billable year; the clock only really starts once you're up and running. Renews yearly at 25% of the license price after that — there is no automatic renewal, we never charge your card without you initiating it.
